The Xpedium Ampero is simply the best choice for e-bikes. Part of our Xpedium series, and therefore a state of the art band. It has a strong carcass with 60 TPI and a reliable EPS anti-puncture layer. In addition, the rubber has been specially developed by our car tire engineers – durable and perfect for quickly going around bends. Of course, it is also approved for e-bikes that travel up to 50 km/h. Exactly what you would expect from a CST e-bike tire. E-bike tires up to 50 km/h. For the faster E-bikes, a quality mark is required. Our special E-bike tires are approved and carry the ECE-R75 quality mark up to speeds of 50 km/h. The modified compound, developed by our car tire engineers, makes the tires better suited for going quickly through a bend and for keeping rolling resistance low. In addition, the tires are also very wear-resistant. CST tires with the ECE quality mark can handle speeds of up to 50 km/h and are also preferred on normal E-bikes up to 25 km/h.
