With this Simson chain tool HG/UG, a bicycle chain can be shortened or repaired by pushing the pin of a chain link outwards.
• Remove the unnecessary links with the chain tool.
• Place the chain over the sprockets and connect the ends of the chain together with a Simson connecting link.
• This type of chain tool is only suitable for Uniglide and Hyperglide chains.
